Matan Zohar (London, 1990), better known as Mat Zo, early moved his first steps in the world of music thanks to his mother, a professional violinist, and to his father, who presented him a guitar as a gift at the age of eight. His interest for music grown quickly and became part of few bands as drummer and bassist. However artist such as Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk, shifted his musical inclinations to those of electronic dance music and DJing.
In 2007 Zohar produced his first works, but was in the past two years that his popularity grown significantly, with big tracks such as Rush (which welcome him in the Anjunabeats family), Lucky Strike and The Fractal Universe, and then in 2010 he appeared in djmag ranking at 66 position as a new-entry, also thanks to Near The End, 24 Hours (also remixed by Rank1) and The Lost/The Found.
In 2012 his collaboration with Porter Robinson ‘Easy’ reached number one on Beatport.
Under the pseudonyms MRSA and MRZO he also produce Liquid Drum & Bass music.
